This company which was started by inventor Harry Soref in 1921 and is now a subsidary of Fortune Brands Inc. is the world's largest importer of combination locks, padlocks and other security products. It is famous for a superbowl Ad aired in 1973 where the locks made by this company were shown to survive shots fired by sharpshooters. The company's slogan was hence adopted - "tough under Fire". Recently, Discovery channel's mythbusters tested this commercial and found that the locks do indeed survive gunfire. But this wasn't something special as other locks too did the same.
